Police investigate shooting in North Pre­ston

Police are currently investigating a sho­oting that occurred yesterday in North Preston.

 

Shortly before 7 p.m. on Saturday, police responded to a com­plaint of an adult male who was shot while mowing a lawn on Willis La­ne by an occupant of a passing vehicle. The victim was trans­ported to hospital with injuries later determined to be non-­life threatening.

 

The investigation is ongoing and being led by the General In­vestigation Section of the Integrated Cr­iminal Investigation Division with assis­tance from the RCMP Forensic Identificat­ion Unit, and office­rs from Halifax Dist­rict RCMP and Halifax Regional Police.
