Police investigate shooting in North Preston

January 27, 2012 Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) . . . The Halifax District RCMP/HRP Integrated General Investigation Section (GIS) is investigating a shooting that occurred in North Preston.
 
Yesterday at 10:05 p.m., Halifax RCMP responded to a 911 call at Donald Lane in North Preston.  Upon arrival, RCMP located a 31-year-old male suffering from a single gun shot wound.  The male was transported to the QEII hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
 
Members of the Halifax RCMP/HRP Integrated GIS Unit are in the preliminary stages of the investigation.
