March 21, 2011, Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM)….Members of the Halifax District RCMP/HRP General Investigative Section are investigating a shooting that happened in North Preston, NS.
On March 21, 2011 at approximately 3:00 a.m., Halifax Regional Police stopped a vehicle on Main Street in Dartmouth near Guysbourough Ave. Inside the vehicle was a male suffering from two gunshot wounds. EHS was called and the male was rushed to the QE2 Hospital in Halifax with serious injuries. The hospital was immediately put into "Lockdown Mode" on his arrival.
Police are asking anyone with information about this or any other incident to come forward.
