Police investigate shooting in Timberlea, NS

On May 7, 2011, 4:30 AM,  Tantallon RCMP received a call of what sounded like gunshots coming from behind a residence on Grovenors Lake Drive.  Another complaint was received that suspects had shot at a home on Power Terrace.  While police were responding, there was a two vehicle motor collision near 1215 St. Margaret's Bay Road.  The driver and passenger of one of the vehicles ran off into the woods.  Police attending the scene of the collision located a firearm in that vehicle.  A police dog arrived at the scene to track the suspects but did not locate them.
 
Halifax Integrated General Investigation Section (GIS) are investigating.
