The General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division is currently investigating a shooting that occurred last evening.
At approximately 2:30 a.m., Halifax District RCMP responded to a complaint of gunshots fired near the intersection of Grant Hill Ln. and Upper Governor St. in North Preston. A preliminary investigation has determined that numerous shots were fired in the area and one bullet hole was located in the siding of a residence on Grant Hill Ln. No one was injured as a result of this incident.
The investigation is ongoing with the assistance of the Forensic Identification Section.
