Police are looking for public assistance after an incident early this morning.
At 12:20 AM west division patrol members responded to the 0-100 block of Bromley Road in Halifax to a report of a shot being fired into a residence.  Two adults and an 8 year old child were inside the residence on the second floor at the time of the incident and were uninjured.  Officers located evidence at the scene and are continuing the investigation.  The incident appears to be random at this time and will be investigated by the Integrated General Investigation Section.
