Police investigate shots fired at a vehicle on Hwy 111

Members of the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are investigating a report of shots fired in Dartmouth last evening.

At approximately 9:20 p.m., police responded to the report of shots fired at a vehicle on Highway 111 in Dartmouth. An older model dark coloured van approached the vehicle and the driver fired shots at the moving car.

The vehicle sustained damage to the rear, no persons were injured.

It is believed that the involved parties are known to each other.

This matter remains under investigation at this time.
