On May 4, 2011, 11:10 PM, Halifax District RCMP members were called to May Garden Restaurant on Beaver Bank Road. When they arrived, they found a 40-year old male suffering stab wounds that were not life threatening. The male was transported to hospital by EHS. The investigation has since been turned over to the Integrated GIS Unit.
The initial investigation has determined there was an argument between the victim and two unidentified suspects outside the restaurant. One of the suspects then took out a knife and started swinging it at the victim, who sustained injuries to his left hand and left shoulder area. The suspects then fled on foot. The initial search to locate the suspects was unsuccessful.
One of the suspects is described as a white male, approximately 6' in height, slim build, shaved head with dark hair, wearing a black hooded top and black pants. The second suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5'9", slim build, shaved head with dark hair, wearing a grey hooded top. Both suspects are believed to be in their early 20's.
