Police investigate stabbing in Cole Harbour

April 19, 2011, Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM)… Members of the Halifax District RCMP/HRP Integrated GIS Unit are investigating a stabbing in Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia.

 
Around 02:00 a.m., Halifax District RCMP responded to a male suffering from stab wounds.  When police arrived, they found the 22-year old male victim inside the residence, suffering from a number of knife wounds to his upper body.  He has since been transported to the QE2 Hospital with serious injuries.
 
Members of the Integrated GIS Unit are now involved in the investigation.  
 
Police are asking anyone with information about this or any other incident to come forward.  People are asked to contact any RCMP office, Halifax Regional Police, or Crime Stoppers anonymously anytime at 1-800-222-TIPS(8477) or by Secure Web Tips at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca.  Calls to Crime Stoppers are not taped or traced.  If police make an arrest and lay charges based on a tip, callers qualify for a cash award from $50 – $2000
