Police Investigate Stabbing in Dartmouth

Investigators with the General Investigations Section are currently investigating a stabbing that occurred early this morning in Dartmouth.

At 12:53 a.m. police responded to a report of a stabbing in the 100 block of Pinecrest Drive.

Upon arrival officers located a 56-year-old man who appeared to have life threatening injuries. He was transported to the hospital by EHS.

Following an initial investigation officers arrested a 45-year-old woman, who is known to the man. She remains in police custody at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
