Police investigate suspicious death in Dartmouth

Police are currently on scene of a suspicious death in the 0-100 block of Portland Street in Dartmouth.

On April 16, 2018 at approximately 8:49 p.m., emergency personnel responded to an apartment in the 0-100 block of Portland Street in Dartmouth to report of a man in medical distress.

The man was pronounced deceased at the scene and his death is being treated as suspicious at this time.

Investigators in the Integrated Criminal Investigative Division and the HRP Forensic Identification Section are in the preliminary stages of the investigation.
