Police investigate robbery​ – Halifax 

At 11:38 p.m. on May 28, 2019 officers responded to a report of a robbery of a taxi driver in the area of the 6000 block of Young St. in Halifax.​

A man got into the back seat of the taxi posing as a fare.​ The suspect then put a knife to the taxi driver’s throat and demanded cash.​ The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash to a waiting vehicle described as a dark sedan, possibly a Chevrolet Impala.​ ​ ​

The taxi driver was not injured during the incident.

The suspect is described as a white male with black hair, 6’2” tall and around 25 years old wearing a red light summer jacket and black jeans.

Police investigate robbery​ – Dartmouth 

At 2:00 a.m. on May 29, 2019 officers responded to a report of a robbery at the Irving on 10 Highfield Park Dr. in Dartmouth. ​

A male suspect entered the store and told the clerk he had a weapon and demanded cash.​ No weapon was seen.​ The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.​ There were no injuries.​

The suspect is described as a white male, 6’ tall, 200lbs, around 25 years old, clean shaven wearing a light blue hoodie, navy ball cap, beige pants and white shoes.
