Police Investigate Threats to Schools

At 10:00 a.m. 7 March, Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of threats toward three schools; Rocky Lake Junior High School in Bedford, Ian Forsyth Elementary and Caledonia Junior High Schools in Dartmouth.

Investigators with the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are currently investigating. At this time we do not believe students are at risk and school closure are not necessary. Out of precaution, officers will be present at the schools and will actively monitor.
