Police Investigate two Robberies

At approx. 8:39 pm Halifax Regional Police responded to Kencrest Ave and Mont Blanc Terrace, in Halifax for an attempt robbery. Victim was approached by a male suspect who demanded money. Suspect appeared to be holding what looked to be a weapon. ​ Victim told him he had nothing, and suspect fled the area. ​ There were no injuries. Suspect description , male, ,6’0, dark clothing, scarf across his face, black toque, navy blue jkt, jeans, approx.​ 30 years old.

At approx. 9:10 pm Halifax Regional Police responded to the area of Isleville St and Hennessey Place, in Halifax, for a robbery. Suspect took the victims cell phone. Victim believed the suspect had a weapon. There were no injuries. Suspect description, male, 5’9, blue coat, wearing a hat, had a bandana over his face, black with red markings.
