Police Investigate Unlawful Confinement and Assault Causing

At 12:40 pm, Police responded to a 911 call at the 6000 Block of North Street. There they were met by a 54 year old male, he stated that he brought three persons over to his residence last evening whom he had just met. He stated that he was assaulted and beat by the three as they attempted to obtain money from him.

The victim was able to escape and call police. The victim was suffering from lacerations to his body as well as bruising. He was transported to the QEII for treatment, although the injuries were substantial they are not considered life threatening.
 
Police attended the victims residence and arrested a 28 year old female and a 46 year old female, whom had not left the residence.  A third female had left before police arrival. The suspects are known to police.
 
Police are continuing with the investigation and are searching for the third person.
