Police Investigate Vehicle & Pedestrian Collision

At 7:50 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a vehicle & pedestrian collision at Lancaster Drive and Micmac Blvd and Woodland Ave Dartmouth.

A 45 year old female from Halifax, was crossing Micmac Blvd and was struck by a vehicle turning left from Micmac Blvd onto Woodland Ave.

The pedestrian was transported to the hospital as a precaution with non life threatening injuries.

The driver, a 21 year old female from Dartmouth, was issued a Summary Offence Ticket for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
