Police Investigate Vehicle & Pedestrian Collision

At 5:48 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a vehicle & pedestrian collision at Main Street / Tacoma Drive Dartmouth.​ A vehicle was travelling East on Main Street when an adult male (20 yrs) walked into the side of the vehicle.​ The pedestrian sustained nonlife-threating injuries and has been transported to the hospital.​ The adult male driver (30 yrs) of the involved vehicle was not injured.

In the investigation is in the early stages, investigators from Patrol and Forensic Identification Section are conducting the investigation.​ At this time it is not known if charges are pending.

Traffic Blocked: Both outbound lanes (East) on Main Street were briefly blocked and rerouted into the Centre turning lane continuing outbound.​ Both outbound lanes have been reopened.
