Police investigate Vehicle/Pedestrian Collision, North Preston, N.S.

Halifax District RCMP responded to a vehicle/pedestrian collision sending one man to hospital. On Thursday, October 9th just before 7:30 p.m., Halifax District RCMP, Halifax Fire and Emergency and EHS attended the scene of a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian on North Preston Road.

On Thursday, October 9th just before 7:30 p.m., Halifax District RCMP, Halifax Fire and Emergency and EHS attended the scene of a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian on North Preston Road.

Preliminary investigation determined a man was walking along the road when a vehicle travelling in the same direction topped the crest of a small hill striking the man.

The 61-year-old North Preston man was transported to hospital with non life-threatening injuries. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
