Update: Police charge a woman and youth after weapons complaint in Dartmouth
The General Investigation Section of the Criminal Investigation Division has charged a woman and male youth following a weapons call in Dartmouth yesterday morning.

The General Investigation Section of the Criminal Investigation Division is investigating a weapons complaint after an incident in Dartmouth this morning.
At 11:36 a.m. on February 2, patrol officers responded to a residence in the 100 block of Lakecrest Drive after a report of possible firearm in an apartment at this location. Upon arrival police arrested two people without incident.
Following a search of the apartment, a sawed-off shotgun was located. A 20-year-old woman and a 17-year old male youth were transported to police headquarters for questioning in relation to this incident. Police are still on scene at Lakecrest Drive and the investigation is ongoing with respect to possible charges.
