(Updated) Police Investigate Weapons Call – Stabbing

At 1:26 p.m. 1 July, Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a possible stabbing in the 0-100 block of Convoy Ave, Halifax.

On arrival Officers located a 23 year old male with a stab wound to his arm. The victim attended the hospital for treatment.

(The suspect had fled the scene prior to Police arrival. The victim and suspect are known to each other.)

** Update : The suspect in the stabbing incident has been located and arrested. A 23 year old male will be appearing in Halifax Provincial Court to face weapons charges on Tuesday July 3, 2018.

Investigators with the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division and Patrol are actively searching for the suspect.
