At approx. 12:31 pm Halifax Regional Police responded to a call that a man with a firearm was seen entering an apartment in the 100 block of Pinecrest Dr, Dartmouth.

Police conducted an investigation, no male was located in the apt and no firearm was located.

Police have cleared the scene, and there is no threat to public safety.
