Halifax Regional Police is investigating a collision between a motorcycle and a car on North West Arm Drive in Halifax.
At 12:58 p.m., police received a report of a collision between a motorcycle and a car near the intersection of Northwest Arm Drive and Osborne Street. A 46-year-old man driving the motorcycle was travelling south on Northwest Arm Drive when the car, driven by a 24-year-old man, turned left in the intersection striking the motorcycle. The motorcycle driver suffered what are believed to be at this time non-life-threatening-injuries to his lower body and was transported to hospital.
The driver of the car was issued a summary offence ticket under Section 122(4) of the Motor Vehicle Act for failing to yield when making a left turn on a highway.
