Police investigating after a woman reportedly forced into a vehicle

Police are investigating suspicious circumstances that occurred in Dartmouth yesterday.

At approximately 2:35 p.m. police received a report of a man who appeared to grab a woman and force her into a vehicle in a parking lot near 230 Brownlow Avenue in Dartmouth. The vehicle then left the area.

The man is described as white, in his twenties with a slim build, red hair and beard and dark rimmed glasses.

The woman is described as white, in her twenties with long brown hair in a ponytail. She was wearing dark pants or leggings at the time of the incident.

The vehicle is described as a black older model Volkswagon Jetta or Passat with steel rims.
