Police investigating after man approaches four youths

On August 13, police received a report of suspicious circumstances in the area of Kearney Lake near Larry Uteck Boulevard. At approximately 8 p.m., a man approached four youths who were walking on a pathway in the area and asked them if they wanted to see his truck. The man was not known to the youths, and when they turned around and ran towards Larry Uteck Boulevard, the man followed them until they reached the street. He then turned and walked back along the pathway. The youths left the area and reported the incident to a trusted adult who contacted police.

The man is described as white, 30 to 40 years old, approximately 5’10”and 190 lbs. with dark buzzed-cut hair and facial stubble. The suspect was wearing a red and black hoodie and jeans and was carrying a black backpack.
