Police investigating bomb threat

At 9:45 a.m. today, Halifax District RCMP responded to a com­plaint of a bomb thr­eat at a car dealers­hip on Sackville Dr. in Lower Sackville. Police established a security perimeter around the area and evacuated the area, then conducted a sea­rch of the business and property.

RCMP Explosive Dispo­sal Unit and Police Dog Services attended the location to co­nduct a search. After searching the busi­ness and the vehicles at the location, nothing suspicious was found.

This incident remains under investigation by the General Inv­estigation Section of the RCMP Integrated Criminal Investiga­tion Division.
