The HRP/RCMP Integrated Major Crime Unit is investigating a break and
enter into a residence in the city’s south end.
From HRPD:
The incident occurred at approximately 6:30 a.m. Saturday morning when
a young woman was awaken by a man touching her. As soon as she woke up
the man fled out the back door. Police were called at 8:45 a.m. and
responded to the residence. The victim was not injured and it is
believed that entry was gained through an unlocked door. The only
description of the suspect is that he is a white man, approximately
5'10", with a thin build and straight dark hair. The incident occurred in the 1500 block of Chestnut Street.
