RCMP release:
RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment responded to a fatal residential fire in East Chezzetcook.
On July 14, at approximately 7:30 a.m., RCMP officers and Halifax Regional Fire & Emergency (HRFE) responded to a report of a structure fire in the 1600 block of East Chezzetcook Rd.

Somewhere in the middle — and that's okay.
Once HRFE extinguished the fire, which was contained to the home, the remains of a 59-year-old man were located inside.
The investigation is ongoing together with HRFE and the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service.
