Police investigating indecent act

Halifax Regional Police is investigating an indecent act that occurred yesterday in Dartmouth. At approximately 3:30 p.m., three young girls were playing in the parking lot of an apartment building in the 0-100 block of Kennedy Drive when a minivan pulled in, parking nearby. The male driver and sole occupant opened the sliding passenger door and could be seen masturbating. The suspect is described as an older white man and at the time of the incident was wearing jeans and a red sweater or jacket. The van is described as a blue older model minivan. The man left the area shortly after the incident and police were unable to locate him or his vehicle. Police are asking anyone with information about this incident to contact police at 902-490-5016.
