Police investigating indecent act

Halifax Regional Police is investigating an indecent act that occurred yesterday in Halifax.

Just after 3 p.m. on October 11, police received a call regarding a man masturbating in a parkade at the Halifax Shopping Centre. A woman reported that at approximately 2:52 p.m., she observed a man masturbating and exposing himself in a staircase on the second level near Entrance 2.

The suspect is described as a white man, age 30-40, with light blonde or strawberry blonde hair. At the time of the incident he was wearing a dark t-shirt and blue jeans.

Anyone with information about this incident or the identity of the suspect is asked to call police at 902-490-5016. Anonymous tips can be sent to Crime Stoppers by calling toll-free 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), submitting a secure web tip atwww.crimestoppers.ns.ca or texting a tip – Tip 202 + your message to 274637.
