Police are investigating an indecent act that occurred in the QEII hospital earlier this week.
On March 23 at approximately 12:40 a.m. police received a report of an unwanted person at 1278 South Park Street in Halifax. Responding officers arrested a 49-year-old Halifax man for public intoxication. The man was charged with theft and released to appear in Halifax Provincial Court at a later date.

Last night additional information was provided to police that this man had also committed an indecent act while he was inside the hospital.
The suspect is a 49-year-old white man, 5’10”, 150 pounds with white/gray short hair and goatee.
