Police investigating indecent act – Dartmouth

Halifax Regional Police is investigating an indecent act that occurred yesterday in Dartmouth.

At approximately 8:15 p.m., a man entered a business in the 100 block of Hector Gate in Dartmouth.   The man was trying on clothes in the dressing room and asked a female employee for assistance. When the employee opened the door to help the man, he had his penis exposed and put his hand on her shoulder. The woman ran to the front of the store. The man exited the changing room, went to the front of the store and briefly spoke with the other staff members before exiting the store and leaving in a blue four-door sedan.

The suspect is described as a Middle Eastern man, approximately 5’11”, 200-220 lbs., with curly dark hair and a beard. At the time of the incident he was wearing a red baseball type jersey, black gym pants and white sneakers with gold accents.
