Police Investigating Indecent Act

Halifax Regional Police is investigating a complaint of an indecent act
that occurred Monday afternoon in Dartmouth.

At approximately 2:40 p.m. two ten-year-old girls were walking on
Bellevista Drive when they passed a man sitting in a parked vehicle. The
man’s pants were down and it appeared that he was fondling himself.
The girls went home and told their parents who contacted police.

The man is described as white, in his twenties, with short, light
coloured hair. At the time of the incident he was wearing a white shirt
with a black sweater. The vehicle is described as a four-door red car
with black seats that have the words “Tap Out” on them in white
lettering.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact police
at 490-5016 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS
(8477) or online at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca.
