Police investigating morning stabbing

Halifax Regional Police are investigating an incident that occurred this morning in Halifax.

At approximately 8:03 a.m., police responded to a report of an injured person in the 2400 block of Cragg Avenue. Officers located a 51-year-old man suffering from stab wounds. The man was transported to hospital with what are believed to be non life-threatening injuries.  

Police remain on scene while the area is being processed by the Forensic Identification section  This matter is in the early stages of the investigation and limited details are available at this time.
