Three robbery incidents kept Halifax Police busy overnight.

On 20100906 @ 2059 hours, HRP responded to a report of a Robbery that occurred in the Gladstone Street area near North Street, Halifax. Information received that a group of about 15-20 youth were in the area. A male victim was walking on Gladstone Street when he was approached by the group. One male in the group asked him for a cigarette and then he was attacked by a number of the group punching and kicking him. The victim sustained a cut to his ear and cheek and some swelling to the side of his head. The victim had his cell phone taken and the group took off running from the area.
The group consisted of male and female youths ages ranging in from early-late teens. Matter still under investigation. One male was taken into custody and the matter still under investigation.
On 20100906 @ 2104 hours, HRP responded to a report of an Attempted Robbery and Assault with a Weapon on Davison Street, Halifax. Information received that the same group of youths from the previous Robbery call approached a male and female couple walking in the area and asked if they had a light for a cigarette. One male and 2 females attacked the male and assaulted him with a bat (steel handle from a broom) causing a gouge cut to his hand and he was also struck in the face. The attackers went through the pockets of the victim and fled the area running from West Street to the Agricola street area. The victim was taken to the QE2 with non-life threatening injuries. Matter still under investigation.
On 20100906 @ 2316 hours, HRP responded to a report of a Robbery at 3482 Dutch Village Road, The Bank of NS. The victim indicated that while he was in the bank, 2 masked men entered, one carrying a knife, and demanded $500. The victim indicated he did not have that kind of money and he ran from the bank.
Suspect #1 described as white 17 years old, 6ft, 140-150 lbs, grey hoodiie, scarf on face, thin moustache.
Suspect #2 described as white 17 years old, 5'8"-5'9", dark colored hoodie, baggy sweat pants. Matter still under investigation.
