Police investigating robbery at Lawtons on Duffus

Halifax Regional Police is investigating a robbery that occurred this afternoon in Halifax.
At 12:15 p.m., officers responded to a robbery the Lawtons Drugs located at 5515 Duffus Street. A woman entered the pharmacy, demanded medication and then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of prescription drugs.
The suspect was described as a white woman in her twenties, 5’7” and 160 lbs. At the time of the incident, she was wearing a black toque, a dark blue jacket, a pink shirt and black pants.  
At this time, officers assigned to the HRP/RCMP Integrated General Investigation Section are in the early stages of the investigation. Anyone with information about this robbery or the suspect is asked to contact police at 490-5016.
