Police are investigating a sexual assault which occurred on July 17 in
Halifax.
The incident took place on a path behind the Soccer NS complex in
Clayton Park at approximately 10:30 a.m. A 29-year-old female was
walking in the area when someone grabbed her buttocks. When she turned
around she recognized the suspect from passing him approximately five
minutes earlier on the path. He is described as white, 5'8",
17-19-years-old with a baby face, a slim build, short hair and blue
eyes. At the time of the incident he was wearing a royal blue ball hat
backwards, baggy jeans, sneakers and a white t-shirt with a blue or
green plaid button up shirt over it.
Police remind citizens to be alert and aware of their surroundings at
all times. If you are walking, keep your head up and if you are wearing
earphones and listening to music keep the volume at a level that allows
you to hear what’s going on around you.
