Police are looking for several suspects after three shooting incidents last night.

UPDATED: Officers that attended the scene of both incidents determined that the victim and the vehicle had been shot at with a pellet gun. There is no indication that a firearm was involved.

At 743 pm a female youth was shot in the leg while walking in the area of Gottingen St/ Uniacke St Halifax.  Injuries were minor, no medical treatment was required.  At  813 pm the same parties believed to be responsible for the shooting of the girl, shot out the windows of a parked vehicle on Uniacke St. The beat officers who were in the area apprehended two male youths close by.  Both youths were interviewed and subsequently released without charges. The investigation is ongoing.  A total of four male youths are believed to be involved in both incidents.

At 140 am Halifax Regional Police responded to a reported call of shots fired at a residence on Trinity Dr. Dartmouth, near  Victoria Rd. When officers arrived they discovered that the suspect shot at the front of the residence a number of times. There were residents home at the time however none were seriously injured. One resident suffered a superficial injury to his arm from flying debris. A white male approximately 6’ tall wearing a plaid black and white winter coat was seen running from the scene then entering an older model  grey Jeep Cherokee  which left the scene.  The investigation is ongoing at this time.

Halifax Regional Police responded to shots fired in the area of Kincardine Dr near Greenoch Dr  Dartmouth at 345am. Upon arrival a loaded 32 caliber pistol was found by the police K-9 unit at the rear of a residence on Rannoch Rd. Matter is still under investigation at time of report.
