Police Investigating Shoots Fired

The HRP/RCMP Integrated General Investigation Section are currently

investigating a report of shots being fired, one of which went into an

apartment in Dartmouth.

At 1:08 p.m., police responded to an address on Primrose Street after

receiving a complaint that a shot was fired up into an apartment through

the floor. A female resident was home at the time of the incident but

was not injured. A woman and a female youth were arrested at the scene

and remain in custody at this time. A second unit in the building has

been secured while officers obtain a search warrant.

At this time the investigation is in its early stages and no decision

on charges has been made.
