Police investigating suspicious incident in Bedford

Halifax Regional Police is investigating a suspicious incident which occurred in Bedford last evening.

At approximately 9 p.m. two 11-year-old girls were walking on Snowy Owl Drive in Eaglewood Subdivision when they observed a vehicle coming towards them.

The vehicle pulled over to their side of the road and the male driver stepped out of his vehicle and asked the girls where they were going.

Both girls ran away but one of them observed the vehicle driving very slowly in the area for several minutes after the incident.

At this time, the man’s motives are not known, however police are investigating the incident and are looking to identify and speak with the driver.

He is described as a white man, 40-45-years old, 5′6″ with a stocky build and brown hair.
