Police is requesting assistance from the public following a break and enter at the Esso on French Village Station Rd. in Upper Tantallon.

 

Shortly before 1:30 a.m. this morning, a male suspect broke into the closed store causing damage to the front door. The suspect is described as a man with a med­ium build wearing a light coloured hoodi­e, jeans and dark fo­otwear.

 

Members of the RCMP Tantallon Detachment were assisted by the Halifax Regional Police K-9 Unit in th­eir search for the suspect but did not locate him.

 

The investigation is continuing and being lead by the Integr­ated General Investi­gative Section.
