Police looking for driver involved in motor vehicle collision February 16

Halifax Regional Police is seeking the public’s help identifying a driver of a tractor trailer involved in a two-vehicle collision in Halifax on February 16.

At about 7 a.m., a black Ford Fusion and a vehicle transporter, travelling southbound on Robie Street, turned right at the intersection of Robie and Young Streets. The vehicle transporter was in the left lane and the Fusion was in the right lane and upon turning, the trailer of the vehicle transporter struck the Fusion, causing damage to the front end of the vehicle.

The vehicle transporter continued on Young Street while the driver of the Fusion pulled over to examine damage to the vehicle. It’s likely the driver of the vehicle transporter was unaware he struck the Fusion.

Police are asking the male driver of the vehicle transporter or anyone with information about this incident to contact police at 902-490-5016.
