From HRPD:
Halifax Regional Police is seeking the public’s help in locating a
missing Halifax man.
Thirty-five-year-old James Edward Askew was reported missing on
September 5. He was last seen in Halifax on August 31 and at that time
he was wearing black shorts, black and white sneakers and he always
wears a baseball hat. He was also carrying a gray, red and white kit bag
with “Canada” written on it. James is described as white, 5'7", 150
lbs., with hazel eyes and has a mustache. It is possible that James is
on his way to Ontario but at this time it is unconfirmed.
There is concern for James’ well being as he requires medication and
without it he may become a danger to himself or others. Police request
that he, or anyone with information regarding his whereabouts, contact
police. Anyone with information is asked to call Halifax Regional Police
at 490-5016.
