Police looking for man who offered teens a drive

Springhill RCMP is asking for public help to identify a man who offered a ride to a pair of youth in Springhill.On March 2 at approximately 11:25 a.m., two female teenagers were walking on Morris St. when they were approached by a man in a newer white van, who was the lone occupant of the vehicle. The man offered the pair a ride and said he lived “just up the street”.  The teens declined and the man drove away without incident. The man is described as older with white hair and the start of a scruffy, white beard. 

The RCMP would like to speak with the man involved. Anyone with information about him or anyone who witnessed this is asked to contact Springhill RCMP at 902-597-3349 or 1-800-803-RCMP (7267).
