On March 21, 2022 at approximately 11 p.m. a citizen contacted police to turn in a quantity of cash that they had just found in the 6000 block of Cunard Street in Halifax.
Police are asking the owner, or anyone who may have information about the money, to call police at 902-490-5020. Anonymous tips can be sent to Crime Stoppers by calling toll-free 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), submitting a secure web tip at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca or using the P3 Tips App.
To claim the money, you must be able to specify the denomination of the bills and the total amount of cash.
We commend the citizen for doing the right thing and turning the money in to police.
