Officers assigned to the HRP/RCMP General Investigation Section are investigating a robbery which occurred in Halifax yesterday.

At 4:55 p.m. officers responded to a robbery at Venus Envy located at 1598 Barrington Street. Staff reported that a man entered the store, produced a knife and demanded cash. No one was injured in the incident and the suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. He is described as a white male, 5″10″, 180 lbs. with a chubby build. At the time of the incident he was wearing a black hooded sweater, dark jeans and a blue bandana with a white pattern over his face.
