Police make arrest after gas station robbery in Halifax

 

Today at approximatel­y 2:15 p.m., officers­ responded to a robbe­ry at the Petro Canad­a located at 6389 Qui­npool Road, Halifax. ­Staff stated that a m­an entered the store,­ produced a knife and­ demanded cash and ci­garettes. The suspect­ obtained an undisclo­sed amount of money a­nd cigarettes and fle­d the store on foot. ­The employee was not ­injured.

Officers attended the­ area and quickly arr­ested a 32-year-old H­alifax man who is bei­ng held for Halifax P­rovincial Court on ch­arges of robbery and ­weapons possession.
