Today at approximately 2:15 p.m., officers responded to a robbery at the Petro Canada located at 6389 Quinpool Road, Halifax. Staff stated that a man entered the store, produced a knife and demanded cash and cigarettes. The suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes and fled the store on foot. The employee was not injured.
Officers attended the area and quickly arrested a 32-year-old Halifax man who is being held for Halifax Provincial Court on charges of robbery and weapons possession.
