Police Make Quick Arrest In Early Morning Assault In Dartmouth

Two men are facing charges after an incident in Dartmouth on Wednesday morning.

Police responded to a disturbance call on Pinecrest Drive at approximately 330 am, upon arrival on scene they found the victim alone  in his residence. The victim was assaulted with a pipe after two men forced their way into his Pinecrest Drive apartment. The victims injuries are non life threatening and he is currently being treated at the Dartmouth General Hospital. This was not a random act as the victim knew one of his assailants.

The two accused parties were apprehended a short distance away in their vehicle. The two accused are being held for Dartmouth Provincial Court on November 12th. They face a number of charges;  Break and Enter, Robbery and Weapons charges. The driver of the vehicle also is being charged with impaired driving.
