Police need public’s help identifying bank robber

Halifax Regional Police is asking for the public’s help identifying a bank robber.

On August 26 at 10:35 a.m., officers responded to the Royal Bank at 6390 Quinpool Road where it was reported that the man in the attached picture entered the bank and demanded money from staff.

The suspect received an undisclosed amount of money and fled the bank on foot, heading westbound on Quinpool Road. No weapon was seen or mentioned, and no one was injured during the incident.

The suspect is described as a white male, in his mid-20’s, between 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-10 in height. At the time of the robbery he was wearing a black bandana over his face, blue knit toque, dark sweater, blue track pants and white sneakers.
