Police Pursuit Ends, Crash Sends Two To Hospital

At about 2:08 am a Halifax Regional Police officer attempted to stop a vehicle for a motor vehicle violation on Dunbrack Street in Halifax.

The vehicle refused to stop and a the police vehicle pursued the vehicle for a short time before it was terminated due to safety concerns. Police Officers located the vehicle within minutes as it was involved in a crash on Dunbrack Street at Wentworth St. Two of the vehicle occupants were injured and were transported to the QE2 with undetermined injuries. The third occupant was apprehended  a short distance away by a K9 team, this male was not injured. Forensic Identification as well as Accident Investigation attended the scene and the investigation is continuing. The Serious Incident Response Team ( SIRT ) was notified  of the incident.
