Police release images from bank robbery

Investigators in the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are seeking the public’s assistance to identify a man who robbed a bank in Dartmouth on Tuesday.

Just after 10:50 a.m. on July 5, a man entered the East Coast Credit Union located at 155 Ochterloney Street in Dartmouth, gave the teller a note and indicated that he had a weapon. No weapon was seen by witnesses. The suspect fled the bank on foot with an undisclosed sum of money. Patrol officers, as well as the K9 Unit, attended but were unable to locate the suspect.

The suspect is described as a white man in his mid-20s to early 30s, 5’10” with a thin build and no facial hair. At the time of the incident he was wearing a black ball cap, black jacket with a white shirt under a grey shirt and jeans.

Investigators are asking anyone who can identify the suspect and/or who has any information on this incident to contact police by calling 902-490-5020.
